Magnum x Edgelands Houston is the final chapter of a collaborative initiative between Magnum Photos and the Edgelands Institute. Protographer Yael Martínez explores the relationship between surveillance and technology in the context of the Houston public schools, in an attempt to find ways to photograph and capture the concepts behind safety, accompanying different citizens of the city in their daily activities and contexts.
